Allegany County Soil & Water Conservation District is a special purpose
district of the State of New York serving Allegany County. Allegany County
S&WCD is one of 58 soil conservation districts in New York State. The
District works in cooperation with the State Soil Conservation Committee,
Allegany County, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, and Cornell
Cooperative Extension of Allegany County, in addition to working with local,
state and federal agencies on natural resource projects.
